An Alternative Rock band from Bangalore, the Inmates are a band that loves to quench the thirst for music of the people with their soulful music. Driving beyond limitations and the cliche style of rock bands, they work on bringing out music that’s soothing and gives the necessary overflow of the adrenaline. With two guitarists, a drummer, a bassist and a Vocalist their coming together is a story in itself. Originally from three different bands, at the onset of leaving their home cities for jobs they all came together to form a band that plays out genres from the kind of progressive rock, classical to the popular covers. This is how Saptarshi, the vocalist of the band justifies the weird and rave name of the band - “We felt like prisoners of the societal norms. Together we wanted to break free. That’s how the INMATES, were born.” A really cool and wonderful way to arrive at the name of a band! Bangalore is a city that has a real feel for music. Playing at the popular pubs and private parties, the musicians of the band are on a roll to set them free from the mundane arising out of the long busy weeks.
Zehen is a LIVE band based out of Karnataka. The band started off in 2008 when a couple of good friends came together to make music that defined them. Starting out they roughly recorded two songs a month before their first gig and gave it to their close friends for feedback. Little did they know that it will spread across the town and two days later everyone would be listening to it! It was only on the day of their first show did they realize the real potential of the band when around a 1000 people turned up for their first gig, singing along to their songs. Gaining immense popularity locally, they started working on setting up a good-big-LIVE act. With a few additions and lineup changes, Zehen as of now consists of Anirudh (guitars), Mahak (keyboards), Utkarsh (vocals), Atul Pandey (vocals), Aditya (bass) and Unnikrishnan (drums). In 2012, Zehen decided to self-produce their songs as they wanted to have full control over each element in the process with Anirudh handling the duties of the producer. The sound of the band involves various instruments, interspersed with electronic samples and groovy beats, keeping the original character of rock n roll alive! The band has played a lot of shows alongside big boys like Kailash Kher, Parikrama, etc. and headlined college fests with a crowd attendance of more than 7000, thus creating a good fan base.

The Black Regiment is a Bangalore-based heavy metal LIVE band. Their music is based on retaliation against the corruption in India. Their music stands strong against injustice and supports righteousness. Black is the color of revolt and unacceptance, and hence the band is a regiment to fight against the wrong. The band kicked off the mission when the founders – Darshan Hegde and Amarnath Rajan – teamed up with Abhi Jain, Gitu Hazarika and Akshun Kumar. Later, Gopal Krishna and Sharath correspondingly replaced the bass and the drum duties. Their music includes heavy and brutal, neo-styled riffs that blend with a melodic touch. Heavens Down is a LIVE band based out of the financial capital of India, Mumbai. The band deals in heady doses of rock ‘n roll, and are also soaked in blues and classic rock. The band has headlined many campus festivals in India, and has toured the Great Indian Rock Festival three times. They are one of the city’s first acts to feature in international compilations. In 2003, Heavens Down had a new avatar – as ‘Night Train’, which was an experimental act. With that, the band saw new members coming. Manjit Joseph, the lead guitarist and founder of the band, spent a decade in teaching some of the country’s finest stage heroes. Eventually, Manjit decided to resurrect his act.
