Aritra and His Soul Project is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of West Bengal, Kolkata. It is the brainchild of Aritra, a very talented singer. It started in 2014 when he thought of creating his own sound and music. The band performs in three languages – English, Hindi, and Bengali. Since childhood, Aritra was born and bought up in Kolkata. Music was always a part of his life. He was the lead singer of his school choir; his mother and father both have a great sense of Indian classical music. Aritra used to participate at a lot of school fests and then decided to pursue music as his career. In 2015, Aritra released his debut album, Icchegulo, in Bengali. The album received many good responses and was digitally released worldwide. Since then, Aritra has worked with several short films, commercials, movies, and many more. His first TV appearance was in Taaza TV in 2008, after which he appeared in Kolkata Idol, a reality show.
