Aleph is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. The name of the band has been derived from the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet which stands for creation or genesis. The band does not perform a specific kind of music but experiments with blues, rock and pop styles. It also draws inspiration from Sufism. Bhadraksh is a LIVE Hindi pop band based in New Delhi. There are three core members who have been performing for more than five years at different platforms such as stages, cafes, corporate shows and so on. Ravi Dhiman is the lead vocalist who is trained in semi classical music and is well-known for his performances in Hindi, Punjabi and Sufi. He shows interest in Bollywood music, Sufi music and Punjabi music. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is his role model. Naman Sharma is the percussionist. He has been playing for more than ten years. He is a multi- instrumentalist and received training in sound recording. He is famous for his solo performances and sings more than 30 Hindi songs at a stretch. His deep and melodious voice and amazing guitar skills have charmed the audience. He shows interest in Hindi and western music. Kanishk Sablania plays the rhythm guitar. Arpit Agnihotri is a singer-songwriter and a producer. He was born and raised in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and attended the University of Delhi for his majors in Political Science. He was on the bass guitars and vocals for a short-lived five-piece band called Rotten Roses, which was majorly a cover band playing classic rock. After their split, Arpit continued to play at local clubs and coffee houses, refining his skills and gaining a following both as a solo artist and an entertainer. LIVE music altogether influenced him as an acoustic guitar player and a singer-songwriter. As a solo career, Arpit has been writing songs and performing at club venues along with other popular music. Along with the gigs, he has also been playing the bass guitars, doing music arrangements and playing with seasoned musicians. Arpit Agnihotri and his band have been known for their versatile repertoire that ranges from independent and Bollywood music to popular and classic music from the West, on the acoustic guitars – and what comes as a delight is their subtle humor and engagement with the audiences, which goes around discussing from anything to everything. SP Ramh is a professional veena artist based out of the capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. He hails from a family of musicians. His maternal grandfather, Sangeetha Bhushanam GN Dhandapani, was a veena artist who was serving All India Radio as a staff artist for more than three decades. His father, Shri R Shankaran, and mother, Shrimathi S Kalyani, are also veena artists. Ramh was inspired to play the veena at a very young age by his father and got his early lessons in veena from his grandfather. Later, at the age of 12, Ramh took to vocal music at the suggestion of his father. Initially, he learnt singing under Shri Sethalapathy Balasubramaniam and Shri Narayanan. Later, he trained under Dr S Ramanathan and Shri S Rajam. Ramh is a regular performer in musical avenues across India. His concerts have won the hearts of music lovers and connoisseurs alike. He is an ‘A’ graded artist in All India Radio for vocal and veena music. Ramh had an extensive tour of the USA and Canada in 1994. Neyveli B Venkatesh is a professional mridangam player based out of the capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. He started playing mridangam when he was just seven years old. His father, AS Balaraman, was his first guru (teacher) who taught him the basics of percussion. As he grew older, he attained guidance from PP Venkatesan and Ramanathapuram MN Kandaswamy, who polished his skills. Neyveli gave his debut performance at the age of 10, which caught the attention of media and other musicians. The spark to achieve, what he has got today, was ignited by his family members. He rose to fame when he played for a 28-hour-long non-stop marathon session in Neyveli. This turning point left an indelible imprint in the music industry. The then Governor of Tamil Nadu – KK Shah – congratulated him for his success. Venkatesh is a skilled at playing the very difficult 'gumuki style'. He is also an expert in playing kanjira. He is an A-grade mridangam artist in All India Radio, and a B-grade artist in playing Kanjira.
