Dhananjay Mukherjee is a professional painter based out of the capital city of West Bengal, Kolkata. He has been painting for last 25 years. Born in 1964 in the terracotta town of Bishnupur, he has inherited an artistic tradition; he started his art life at the tender age of eight. Once he completed schooling, he decided on a career in art and did a year course at La-Martiniere SEOMP Society in Commercial Art, Exhibition Display and Interior Decoration in Kolkata. Simultaneously, he also pursued his graduation studies from the Calcutta University. He started his art career in 1984 with the aim to become a complete contemporary artist. He completed his five years art education from Rabindra Bharti University (Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship) in 1988. He participated in more than 85 group shows and 24 solo shows in India and abroad. His major collections are NGMA - National Gallery of Modern Art (New Delhi), Indian Tourism, Jaypee group of Hotels and many more private collections in India and abroad. Dhananjay creates graphic and structural uniformity on canvas through the play of shade and light. His paintings are basically a judicious mix of the realistic and abstract forms. His thoughts stem from unique imagination, which combines the real natural world with the creative and artistic world. He finds modernism on canvas with the help of some old mythological art like old tribal paintings, Jamini Roy's paintings, and Madhubani Paintings. He expresses with remarkable uses of colours to depict the unknown mysteries in the natural world. His many collections bring out his natural creative talent and total love for art. He paints with acrylic and oil colours on paper and canvas.
Ramchandra Pokale is a professional painter based out of Pune, Maharashtra. He is an artist who paints long lasting impressions of his mind realistically through figurative patterns, suitable objects and convincing colour schemes pertaining to the subject matter. A Masters in drawing and painting, he stood first class from Nagpur University and received a national level Young Artist’s Scholarship in painting in 1999. During his career, he organised many painting workshops and won several esteemed awards. Shashikant is a professional painter based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Originally from Solapur, the painter is famous for his breathtaking art collection. Shashikant utilises the simple tools available to come up with marvellous art creations, while some artists spend fortunes on specific inks and drawing boards. Dhotre started with a black paper and colour pencils and started combining the colours available. Little by little, the markings on his black paper start to come alive. Dhotre’s paintings are so alive and very creative, which makes them popular and unique. Shashikant has not gone without recognition. He has won about nine famous awards for his creative work. In 2011, he won an award in the India Art Festival. Previously, in 2009, Dhotre had won another award in the Bombay Art Society. Both events took place in Mumbai. He has also won the UK Color Pencil award.
